Everton have reportedly rocked Man Utd by agreeing a deal to sign Barcelona powerhouse Yerry Mina. The Sun’s Alan Nixon reported United’s deal broke down when Mina’s adviser, asked for additional payments as part of the fee.
Barcelona and Everton have settled on a fee for Yerry Mina. Sport says Everton have had a €32m offer accepted by Barcelona for Yerry Mina. The Colombia international is keen on a new challenge elsewhere following his Barca difficulties.
Everton are understood to have been interested in Mina since his great performances for Colombia at the World Cup this summer. Mina scored three goals in the World Cup, including the late equaliser that sent their last-16 tie with England to additional time. Yerry Mina was one of Colombia’s best players, which came after a disappointing season in Spain.
Getting Yerry Mina over at the club would be a appreciated start to the last seven days of the transfer window for the Toffees.
