Real Madrid eye PSG’s Edinson Cavani as Cristiano Ronaldo replacement. Real Madrid have shifted focus away from Eden Hazard to Edinson Cavani as they bid to replace Ronaldo.
Edinson Cavani is Real Madrid’s new number one target after Chelsea demanded the Spanish giants pay €200 million for Eden Hazard. Robert Lewandowski is also no longer a serious target for Real (AS). Cavani is Paris Saint-Germain top scorer of all time and makes a front three in the French capital with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, perhaps the most dangerous front three in world football right now.
Edinson Cavani scored 28 goals in 32 Ligue 1 appearances last season and then scored three times in the World Cup. The report claims Cavani’s salary will be €12m plus €2m (£12.4m total) net.
Paris Saint-Germain, meanwhile, have decided they would be willing to let him go for less than €100 million.
