Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will go with Hugo Lloris at Manchester United

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will go with Hugo Lloris on Monday night at Manchester United.

The Daily Mail says Pochettino is expected to stand by Lloris on Monday against Manchester United after the Tottenham captain was arrested and charged with drink driving, causing him to miss training on Friday morning as he was in police custody.

The France and Spurs captain, 31, has publicly apologised and will be subject to an internal disciplinary process at the club, but is still expected to start against United at Old Trafford.

Though Pochettino has previously shown ruthlessness, for example with Kyle Walker or Toby Alderweireld, when he perceived that their commitment to the club had wavered, it is thought that on this occasion he will stick with his captain, with whom he has a close relationship.
